About Mela Landscapes
Mela Landscapes is a lawn care business in Providence, RI, keeping lawns cut, fed and tidy for homes and businesses across the city.
Lawn care, the way we do it, is the work that keeps turf healthy and a yard looking kept: the regular cut, the feeding and weed control, aeration and seed when the grass thins, and the cleanups that open and close the season.
Our routes run through Providence and out to East Providence, Pawtucket, Central Falls, Cranston and Valley Falls. If your yard sits farther out than that, ask on the call and we will tell you straight.

The lawn work we do
We mow, feed, treat, aerate, lay sod and clean up lawns and yards, for homes and for businesses.

Here is the work we take on, one line for each:
- Mowingweekly or every other week, with "string trimming" where the mower cannot reach and a clean edge along the walks
- Lawn feeding"slow-release" fertilizer in spring and fall, so the color holds between visits
- Weed controlcrabgrass preventer in spring, then spot treatment for dandelions and clover
- Aerationplugging compacted soil with "core aeration", usually followed by overseeding
- Sodnew lawns rolled out on a level, prepared "finish grade"
- Leaf removalfall leaves off the lawn and out of the beds before winter
- Clean upsspring and fall: beds cut back, edged and mulched, debris hauled away
